Swami Swarupanand was a teacher by profession. He performed a role of great freedom fighter against British rulers. He was a great philosopher, guide to the masses. He has translated Dnyneshwari, a great holy book in simple language. Swami was born and brought up in this place and also took his last breath here. Now the place, Samaadhi Temple, is believed to be blessed by Swami Swarupanand. |
